This year’s 2025 Valentine's Day Bouquet Fundraiser has been nothing short of extraordinary! We are thrilled to announce that, thanks to the support of our community, we exceeded our goal by raising over $2,000—well beyond our target of selling 73 bouquets and receiving generous donations. We are incredibly grateful to each and every one of you who contributed to this success.

This marks our 7th year of hosting this event, and we couldn’t be more proud of how far we’ve come. With each bouquet sold, and every donation received, we are able to continue our mission of providing scholarships to deserving graduating seniors at Martin Luther King High School. Your support ensures that young people in our community have the opportunity to further their education and build a brighter future, keeping Tionne’s legacy alive and thriving.

We are excited to announce that we are entering our 7th year of hosting the annual Valentine's Bouquet Fundraiser for the Tionne Thomas Scholarship Foundation! Every year, this fundraiser gets better and more successful, thanks to the love and generosity of our incredible supporters.

This special event has allowed us to raise vital funds for the scholarship program, which helps empower young women in their educational journeys—continuing Tionne's legacy of excellence, leadership, and service. Ordering for the Valentine's Bouquets ends on February 9th! However, if you still need to place an order, don't hesitate to reach out. We are more than happy to accommodate orders as long as supplies are available.

Trunk or Treat 2023: A Spooktacular Success!

On October 28, 2023, we hosted an incredible Trunk or Treat event at the Community Achievement Center at Flat Shoals Park, and we couldn't be more thrilled with the turnout! The event was filled with fun, laughter, and, of course, plenty of candy.

A huge thank you to all the vendors who came out to support the event. Your participation helped make the day special for all the families in attendance. From creative trunk decorations to exciting giveaways, your contributions truly made a difference. We also want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended—your energy, smiles, and spirit helped create an unforgettable experience for the community.

This event was not only a fun way to celebrate Halloween, but it also served as an important opportunity to raise awareness for the Tionne Thomas Scholarship Fund. Together, we are making a positive impact and supporting the future of young women pursuing their educational goals.

Painting for a Purpose: A Memorable Event for a Great Cause

On April 27, 2019, we hosted our Painting for a Purpose event at the Brown's Mill Recreation Center, and it was met with an incredible response! This event was not only an opportunity to enjoy creativity and connection but also a way to raise support for the Tionne Thomas Scholarship Fund.

The day was filled with laughter, joy, and meaningful conversation as attendees enjoyed painting, light refreshments, and friendly games. It was a wonderful way to bring the community together while making a difference in the lives of young women striving for excellence in their educational pursuits.

One of the most special parts of the event was seeing our previous scholarship recipients in attendance. It was inspiring to reconnect with these bright and talented women, who are now furthering their education and making their own mark on the world. Their continued success is a true testament to the power of community support, and it was heartwarming to see how far they’ve come since receiving their scholarships.

Tees for T: Celebrating Tionne's Birthday and Supporting the Scholarship Fund

In June 2020, we celebrated what would have been Tionne Thomas’ birthday in a special way with our "Tees for T" campaign. We created limited-edition shirts featuring Tionne’s birthdate, and the response was incredible! Within just two weeks, all of our shirts sold out, thanks to the overwhelming support from our community and beyond.

The "Tees for T" shirts were more than just a way to honor Tionne—they were also a powerful way to help fund the Tionne Thomas Scholarship Fund. Each shirt purchased contributed directly to providing financial assistance for young women pursuing their educational goals, continuing Tionne's legacy of service, excellence, and empowerment.

We are beyond grateful to everyone who purchased a shirt, spread the word, and showed up to support the scholarship program. Your generosity makes a lasting impact on the lives of future scholars and helps keep Tionne’s spirit alive through the work we do.
